Scholarship Award
Establishing a new initiative to further educational opportunities, CET will award scholarships to high school seniors who are planning on attending a two- or four-year, or technical college in the next academic year.
Four students will be selected annually to receive $1,000, payable to an educational institution upon proof of enrollment.

- AI is permitted, but can not exceed 30% of your essay

Eligibility requirements
- 12th grade student residing in the CET service area
- Current GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Plans to attend a two- or four-year, or technical college in the next academic year
- Completed application
- Scholarship essay
Scholarship Dollar Program
Essays will be reviewed and scored based on the following criteria (equally weighted):
- Embracing the topic
- Innovation of idea presented
- Overall writing and grammar
Reminder
Copy of your official college acceptance letter and class schedule is required.
Proof of registration (class schedule) and awarded funds must be collected by September 25, 2025. The class schedule must clearly state your name, course name, number of units, and the name of the college/university attending. These funds do not “carryover” and they are not transferable. If you choose not to attend college this academic year (2025-26), the funds will be forfeited.
